Part 10: Description of Ralph Erskine's [RE] method of collaborating with other practices, including work on Lilla Bommen, Gothenburg, 1987, for Skanska; discussion of problems of site for Lilla Bommen; work on the building with White Architects; explanation of division of responsibility in the collaboration, and RE's use of drawings and models. Description of RE's work on design of Byker Wall, Newcastle-on-Tyne; RE's early contacts with contractors and local authority in Newcastle; consultation with residents of Byker on preferences for flats or houses; remarks of sense of locality in Newcastle; organisation of movement of residents from old accommodation into new buildings.
