Elizabeth Frink's (EF) personal life as student and connection with her upbringing; discussion of emotions expressed in her work; meeting and marriage to first husband; her maternal grandparents, and brother's emigration to Canada; birth of her son (his character and career as artist). Discussion of drawing in relation to EF's sculpture; work on portraits and other heads. Commissions for boar for Harlow New Town, 1957, monument in Bethnal Green, and monument to Allcock and Brown, Manchester Airport. Discussion of symbolism of horses and men. EF's family and working life in France during her first marriage; reasons for its failure.
