Abstract
Part 24. Mark Fry (his son); attended Port Regis school then to Dartington; daughter Lucy attend Dartington also. Describes circumstances of Basil Jonzen [BJ] died at 40 of a brain tumor. Had affair with Kelly Clarke [KC] [phonetically transcribed] (Kenneth Clarke’s daughter); she was pregnant; BH knew about it one year before she died; the baby, Sam, is now successful chef with Islington restaurant ‘Moro’s’ [phonetically transcribed]; Anthony Fry [AF] wouldn’t leave BH for Kelly while BH dying. Comments relationship with Kelly Clarke. SF for 25 years; ‘pal’ of his life. AF has another son with Shirli Scott James [SCJ]; comments on trip to Ethiopia with SCJ and Beriut, Lebanon; recounts story about being in a bar in Beriut and a man offers money for a few days with SCJ. Recalls story about scoring some hash from this Lebanese family; SCJ and AF locked in the house; they escaped and the family followed them. Mentions that he never had group sex. Comments on SCJ as an artist (painter) and her death of a rare disease. Recounts brief story of being at his house in Tuscany with SCJ’s son who AF adopted; found flat in Bolton Square and moved into it. Sam didn’t know AF’s other children; KC looked after Sam; AF didn’t want KC to have Sam. SCJ and AF never marry. Comments on difficulty painting and working while with SCJ; SCJ stoned often and slept late.
