Abstract
Part 15: Changing relationships between the consulting and design resource over time. On brand no longer being only graphic but experiential and recognising the need for a broadening creative base. Importance of permanent staff and in-house technological development for sustained creative growth and excellence. Reflecting on selling the business to Omnicom. On own belief in global expansion; relates to existing expansion into America. Importance of new communications technologies for achieving an enriched and energising growth for the company. Thinking about where the future is in terms of existing and new markets and how that should be reflected in the staffing at Wolff Olins. Talking about Japan as a base with its particularly conservative culture in relation to brand. Relates to a current project as well as thinking about the future for WO in Japan.
