Item note: Begins with end of song, Tu te roto matuo, followed by conch shell which is used to call people to church. Tape i -III: Music of Tikopia in the Solomon Islands - tapes prepared in 1956 by Norma McLeod for publication by Folkways records from original 1952/3 recordings made by James Spillius, expedition leader Professor Raymond Firth, sponsor: The Australian National University (A.N.U.).
