    Item note: Ndingidi (two fiddle song) song. Compiled in a set of recordings for Kizza's own teaching use. Performance note: Introduced by Christopher Kizza. Played on two fiddles in quasi-unison with a little bit of singing by Kizza. Played in quasi Hima style. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is PCUG64-8.49.A4.

African Harmony: *the fiddles main melody uses inherent patterning. The melodic jump more than a 4th in the melody creates the effect of their being two melodies in alternations. *when the second fiddle plays the inherent pattern it plaus unison on the upper voices and uses parallel dyads for the second part.
