  • Description

This is an example of an isigekle sung by men and women of the Buthelezi clan led by Chief Mangosuthu Gatsha Buthelezi. One can hear the people stamp the slow steps of the dance. The words of this isigekle make fun of a neighbouring chief who was so old that he could only reign for a very short time. After one month he was disposed because of his senility.
