  • Description

This is a girls dance song which is used in the fifth movement of the brass suite. The text of the chorus states that a girl is like a tug of war rope, being pulled in many directions by her many suitors. This song is sung by Princess Constance Magogo and Mangosuthu Buthelezi. It is an indlamu song which is sung by the older girls at the Qoma courting ceremony.
